Hilde has acquired in-depth capabilities in optimizing warehouse and transactional processes : “the non-visible” processes that deal with high volumes of paperwork like Finance, Human Resources, IT, Legal, Procurement, Shared Services Centers, etc.    She worked in Prague for three years optimizing a financial shared services center with more than 40 nationalities and different cultures.

Hilde is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Master in Finance and Certified Change Agent.   She also completed Vlerick School’s  International Management Program.

Her passion is to learn her audience to love data analysis and value the combination of decisions made on facts & figures and intuition.

Fluent in Dutch, French, English, German and some Spanish brings her very close to the people in their working environment.

Jan Jaeken

Jan Jaeken has acquired extensive know how with setting up new companies, mostly from scratch.
After several assignments in the European petrochemical industry he started Eneco Belgium from scratch right after the Belgian power and gas market unbundled and became their first managing director. Next he was asked to set up RWE Belgium, again from scratch and as their CEO managed to bring the company to financial break-even in only one year time, together with a small performing team. He also acted as interim restart manager and coach at Powerhouse BE and set up the Belgian businesses of both GEN bv, a Dutch energy consultancy and RentAlite bv, an innovative LED producer. He currently acts as their long-term business partner.
Jan combines this diversity on experience and background knowledge to develop future-oriented concepts, products and services which the energy industry is desperately looking for.

Since many people regularly asked him to give his insight on Belgian/Dutch cultural differences he decided to set up a scientifically sound training module on the subject. This new service allows Jan to share his extensive experience on the subject with the various participants he trained so far.

Jan serves as a member of the Board of Directors of OVED, the Belgian energy expert  not-for-profit industry organization, an active member of Smart Grid Flanders and Smart Energy Solutions and  VOKA,  the Chamber of Commerce.

He also is a BREEAM Certified International Assessor of  the BRE-Institute (Watford, UK) itself.
Jan holds a Master Business Engineering (Leuven University) and an MBA (Vlerick School, Leuven/Gent).
